Welcome to the Triton College School of Continuing Education (SCE).

Due to precautions regarding COVID-19, Triton College is beginning to re-open, including the School of Continuing Education. The College's Operations and Maintenance staff have been trained in cleaning and disinfecting procedures in alignment with federal, state and local guidelines. They maintain regular sanitizing practices, including routine cleaning and disinfecting of surfaces, equipment and other elements in our work environment.

Enroll in SCE Classes

School of Continuing Education courses are a great way to learn a new skill or brush up on an existing one. SCE courses do not require the same enrollment steps as our traditional credit classes. Enrolling in an SCE course can be done by following these simple steps.

To get started, browse the current School of Continuing Education course schedule and find the class(es) that meet your interests and personal schedule. Take note of the meeting times, course and section number, and the cost for the course.

Once you have selected the course(s) that you wish to take, download the School of Continuing Education Registration Form below and fill out the required fields, which includes information about you as a student, and your desired courses.

Once you have completed your registration form, Submit your registration form to the School of Continuing Education office.
If you have not received the link, please email katierullo@triton.edu with a copy of your registration.

Registration submission can be sent in a variety of ways:

  1. Register by Email: Send your completed registration form to: askCE@triton.edu
  2. Register by Fax: Send your completed application form to: (708) 583-3114
  3. Register by Phone: Call (708) 456-0300, Ext. 3500
    Be prepared to give the representative the information from your form, then keep the form for your records.
  4. Register by Mail: Mail registration and payment to:

  5. Register in Person: Come to the SCE Office, Room A-201, on the main floor of the Learning Resource Center.

Online Learning

Triton College offers a range of highly interactive courses that you can take entirely over the Internet. All of our courses include expert instructors, many of who are nationally known authors. Our online courses are affordable, fun, fast, convenient, and geared just for you.

We are proud to partner with ED2GO to provide you with the most current and easily understood on-line classes. We offer classes in diverse categories such as Business, Computers, Health Care, Teachers and Teaching Paraprofessionals, and many others.

FEES: Students enrolled in "E" noncredit/vocational courses (i.e. PSY E01) are assessed fees totaling $16 per Adult Education Credit hour [AEC].  This includes Registration, Auxiliary, Technology, and Student Services fees.

Students enrolled in "C" noncredit/personal enrichment courses (i.e. PED C01) are assessed a $7 registration fee per course.  Students registering for multiple "C" courses are eligible for a refund of any registration fee balance over $7 and should contact the School of Continuing Education office.

*The registration fee is waived for in-district senior citizens age 60 and older. In the event a student cancels a course, the registration fee will not be refunded.

Important Notice for Real Estate Students - Changes to Illinois State Real Estate Educational Requirements

Due to modifications of the Real Estate License Act of 2000 the following changes became effective May 1, 2011:Changes the license categories under the Act from Salesperson and Broker to Broker and Managing Broker. The term "broker" is what the public identifies with when it comes to the real estate licensee they work with in a transaction. The term "managing broker" clearly identifies the person(s) in the brokerage operation that have management authority and responsibility.

RSVP is funded by the Corporation for National and Community Service, the Illinois Department on Aging and Leyden Township and matched by Triton. RSVP is part of Senior Corps which also includes Foster Grandparents and Senior Companions.

Concealed Carry (CCW) Training

Triton College just celebrated over 50 years of excellence in education and training.

Our CCW Instructional Team has more than 100 years of combined experience in this field.
We have trained firearms students in the fields of Criminal Justice Administration, State of Illinois Armed Security Officers, Private Investigators, Armed Alarm, Contractors, Auxiliary Police Officers, and now Conceal Carry for citizens.

Our team is academically degreed and State and Nationally certified in firearm education and training. We are available to you before and after you complete our class(es) to answer questions and provide guidance of subject matters within our area of expertise.

Become a SCE Instructor

Triton College's School of Continuing Education is looking for you!

Do you have a hobby or skill in which you excel? Are you a natural leader? Have you ever wanted to try teaching? Would you like to earn extra income?

Teaching a non-credit class at Triton or one of our high school extension sites can be rewarding in so many ways. You can experience the enjoyment of helping others increase their knowledge and skill. You can meet people with similar interests. You can earn extra income by working in an area you enjoy. Because of the nature of non-credit classes, instructors are not required to have degrees as they must be able to demonstrate expertise in the subject area. Non-credit classes usually do not run for more than a few sessions and are short term assignments.

The Triton College SCE is looking for individuals with expertise and/or experience in many areas. While we are always adding new classes we are in current need of non-credit instructors for seminars in:
